What a pity to find these useful sites for bioinformatics till now! Maybe it is still helpful to those who are searching for their M.S./PhD programs.
1. Free recruitment service to students and
http://www.get-recruited.com/ (all majors)
2. A Genomics, Proteomics and Bioinformatics Knowledge Base
http://www.123genomics.com/ (lots of knowledge)
http://www.123genomics.com/files/courses.html (special for bioinformatics application)
http://www.123genomics.com/files/jobs.html (for job hunting)
3. Online Lectures on Bioinformatics
4. O’Reilly’s CD bookshelf
http://www.unix.org.ua/orelly/ ( all is free, lots of Perl books, recommend!!!)
The strongest feeling after I came here is:
If you don’t learn Unix/Linux and Perl, you can never do well in Bioinformatics. That’s one of requirements for this subject. It’s definitely true, at least in current stage, looking back from the world level.
